In Autumn 2016 I worked with Harvest Creative to produce this short film for the Heritage Lottery Fund as part their Yorkshire’s Back Garden campaign

The film tells the story of two HLF supported projects Greno Woods and York Gate gardens in Yorkshire.

Greno Woods is a 169 hectare historic site, rich in wildlife that stretches back over 700 years. The project has helped Sheffield and Rotherham Wildlife Trust acquire the woodland and conserve the site.

York Gate gardens is a small (but perfectly formed) masterpiece of garden design, located north of Leeds in the historic village of Adel.  The project has helped develop new displays and tours for visitors.

Filmed at these two fantastic Yorkshire locations, I completed all of the filming and post-production on this project.  Filmed using a Panasonic AG-AF101, editing and all post-production completed in Adobe Premiere Pro.

Yorkshire’s Back Garden is a campaign that highlights awareness of the beautiful landscapes and wildlife in Yorkshire and Humber.  The project aims to help local people, connect, explore and enjoy the landscapes around them.
